Formative Assessment Tasks

For school leaders looking to make positive improvements in their settings, we have provided a library of the Formative Assessment Tasks undertaken by our NPQ participants.

These tasks have resulted in real and sustainable change and we hope they inspire you to implement similar improvements in your schools.

You can filter the projects using the Tags to the right or by using the search box.

Formative Assessment Tasks are a key feature of NPQs and ensure participants are able to:

  • Identify their strengths and weaknesses in relation to the NPQ framework
  • Receive timely feedback on their progress
  • Make adjustments to their learning and development
  • Ensure that they are meeting the requirements of the NPQ

By using formative assessment, NPQ participants can get a better understanding of their own
learning and development, and can make adjustments to their learning accordingly. This can help
them to ensure that they are successful in completing the NPQ and achieving their professional goals.
