About Alban Teaching School Hub

The Alban Teaching School Hub is one of 87 designated school-led centres of excellence for teacher development.  Teaching School Hubs are ambassadors for the world-class delivery of new teacher development reforms in England. Our overall responsibility is to maximise opportunity and development for teachers at all stages of their development; this work is focused on the golden thread of teacher development from ITT to school leadership. The mission from the DfE is for Teaching School Hubs to lead evidence-based teacher development to empower teachers and school leaders and, most importantly, impact pupil outcomes.
