What are the benefits?
The programmes provide outstanding leadership development underpinned by cross-sector learning and practice. Candidates and their schools enjoy a number of benefits including:
-
There are three routes to access Apprenticeship levy funding:
-
The apprenticeship tutor's main function is to ensure all candidates achieve their full potential. The tutor has responsibility for the apprentice throughout the programme from on-boarding to End Point Assessment. The tutor conducts monthly online reviews and there are quarterly face-to-face reviews (subject to Covid safety restrictions).
Providing pastoral care throughout the programme, the NPQ tutor's role complements that of the apprenticeship tutor and further ensures that candidates get the most from the programme and are fully supported throughout. -
Complete the NPQ component of the Leaders Apprenticeship and gain master's credits at some of the UK's top universities. See bestpracticenet.co.uk/masters-credits-for-npqs for more information
-
Choose between the National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership (NPQML) or the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) depending on your leadership experience and leadership goals.
-
As part of the final NPQ assessment you will be required to put to use all that you have learned and address one of your school's key priorities in the form of a School Improvement Project. We have uploaded some of the projects undertaken my previous candidates in our School Improvement Library.
