The Headteacher Programme (Level 7 Apprenticeship with NPQH) is a dual award incorporating the NPQ for Headship (NPQH) with the Level 7 Senior Leader Standard.

The two qualifications have been mapped to one another meaning completing the dual award requires fewer guided learning hours than completing the two qualifications separately.

The Headteacher Programme (Level 7 Apprenticeship with NPQH) is an 18 month programme where learners will be required to complete 6 hours of new learning (composed of Off the Job Training OTJT and study) each week.

The programme has been designed to be completed by teachers and leaders working full time. Face-to-Face events are spaced equally over the duration of the programme at nearby schools or venues, with online events available on request. The other programme elements will be completed during flexible date windows in order for learners to balance programme workload with other commitments.
