The Best Practice Network HLTA of the Year Awards Is Back!
We are excited to announce that after a few years' break, the HLTA of the Year Awards is returning! Let's celebrate the HLTAs' role in a class and school. Show them your appreciation of all the effort and commitment they put into supporting teaching. Nominate them to win the title of the Best Practice Network HLTA of they Year 2022 by 14th November.

What is the HLTA of the Year Award?
The Best Practice Network HLTA of the Year Award for 2022 is a national competition to recognise all the hard work and commitment of the HLTAs in the country. Anyone at the school can nominate their exceptional HLTA and give them a chance to win the title of the HLTA of the Year, a named trophy and a certificate. The competition is running until the 14th of November and we are accepting nominations in three categories:
- Primary School
- Secondary School
- Special Educational Needs School.
To nominate an HLTA at your school, simply fill in the application form by 14th November. Remember to get your headteacher's approval. The winner will be announced in December! Do you work with an extraordinary HLTA? Nominate them now!
