Ofsted recently undertook a survey of 22 schools that had previously been identified as performing well in the Subject of PE. This survey was to measure the effectiveness of the Primary PE and Sport premium which was introduced by the government in 2013 to compliment the Olympic Legacy Funding. The funding could be spent as the school preferred as long as it improved the quality and range of the schools PE and Sport department. Read more about their advancements on the Ofsted Website.
