Free webinar – Response to Educational Excellence Everywhere

What should schools be doing now to respond to the government’s white paper ‘Educational Excellence Everywhere’ and the proposal that every school should be an academy and part of a chain by 2022?

Most sensible commentators are telling schools not to rush into any hasty arrangements, on the other hand, this is not a time for schools to sit on their hands and play the waiting game. If schools are not in at the beginning they lose the opportunity to help shape the pattern of local delivery, and may find that when the time is right for them, there are limited options for conversion and that those options are a poor fit with their ethos and values.

What happens now?

Join Best Practice Network and Prima Learning Trust on Wednesday the 27th April from 5pm to 6pm for a free webinar to discuss the white paper and the implications of mass academisation.

We have gathered together a panel of experts including Dave Baker, CEO of The Olympus Academy Trust and member of the RSC's headteacher board in the South West, Jeff Hart, Vice Chair of Governors for Poole High School, Ralph Batten, Director and Chair of the Standards and Accountability Monitoring Group for the Ocean Learning Trust with the event chaired by Christine Bayliss, the interim CEO of Prima Learning Trust.

Please email Christine with any questions you would like addressed at the webinar, we will cover off as much as we can!

There are limited spaces available but please do register - we will be sharing the recording with all of those who are unable to attend.
